Zas Mountain is the highest mountain in the Cyclades island group ,with an elevation of 1,004 meters and it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the Aegean Sea and nearby islands. 

The mountain is also steeped in mythology, as it is said to be the birthplace of the god Zeus, according to Greek mythology. 

Visitors can hike the trails that wind through the mountain’s lush terrain, taking in the flora and fauna and discovering secluded caves along the way. 

There are also several ancient ruins and archeological sites located on the mountain, such as the Zas Cave, which is said to have been a place of worship for the god of fertility, Dionysus.
