The entrance to the gorge is through the picturesque Gouverneto Monastery for which there is a small fee which is well worth it.  

At the end of the hour-long trail awaits the rewarding isolated cove of Katholiko Bay which features pristine waters.

One of the highlights of Katholiko Gorge is the ancient Katholiko Monastery, nestled within a cave at the bottom of the gorge. 

This historic site dates back to the 6th century and provides a glimpse into the region’s rich religious and cultural heritage.
