Anthony Quinn Beach Rhodes lies on the eastern coast of the island. It sits about 17 kilometers from Rhodes Town and just 4 kilometers from the resort town of Faliraki. This small beach nestles in a narrow cove with lush green hills and rocky surroundings. The beach offers one of the most scenic and popular spots on the island.

The beach takes its name from actor Anthony Quinn. He starred in the movie The Guns of Navarone, filmed nearby in 1961. He admired the bay and tried to buy the land, hoping to create a retreat for artists.

Anthony Quinn Beach features a mix of pebbles and large rocks. The crystal-clear emerald waters attract swimmers and snorkelers. However, visitors should bring water shoes to walk comfortably on the uneven surfaces.

Getting to the beach is easy by car, scooter, or taxi. A paved road leads to a small parking area above the bay. From there, a stone path and steps take visitors down to the beach. Early arrival is wise, especially in summer, as the area gets crowded quickly. The cove is small and fills up fast.

Facilities are available but limited. A beach bar serves drinks and light meals. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent, though space is tight. There are also restrooms and changing cabins nearby.

The beach does not suit large groups or noisy parties. It offers a quiet escape and a more intimate setting. In addition, the surrounding cliffs and pine trees add to the peaceful mood.

The best time to visit Anthony Quinn Beach Rhodes is from May to October. Mornings and late afternoons are less crowded and more comfortable. Nearby, visitors can explore Ladiko Beach or take a short trip to Faliraki for more dining and shopping options.
