Zorkos Beach Andros is one of the most stunning and remote beaches on the island. Located in the northern part of the island, about 50 km north of Chora, it offers a peaceful escape from busy tourist areas.

To reach Zorkos Beach, follow a scenic route that begins in Gavrio, the island’s main port. After about 14 kilometers of paved road, visitors have to continue for another 3 to 4 kilometers on a dirt track. Although the road becomes rough near the end, most cars can handle it.

Upon arrival, visitors find a wide stretch of golden sand mixed with small pebbles. The beach extends nearly 300 meters, providing plenty of space even during peak season. The water near the shore appears shallow at first, but it deepens quickly.

In summer, a small beach bar near the parking area serves drinks and light snacks. It also offers sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. Despite this, the beach lacks full facilities, so visitors should bring water, food, and sun protection. Because of the beach’s remote location, mobile phone signals may also be weak or unavailable.

Zorkos Beach Andros stays quiet throughout the season. While families can enjoy the space, they should prepare for deeper waters and minimal amenities. Adventurous travelers, on the other hand, often find the wild setting perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring.

Although Zorkos does not suit everyone, it remains a favorite for those who prefer unspoiled destinations. Visitors looking for organized beach clubs or nightlife will not find them here.
