Batsi Andros is a lively seaside village on the western coast of the island. It sits about 8 kilometers from Gavrio, the main port, and around 27 kilometers from Chora, the island’s capital. Originally a quiet fishing village, Batsi has grown into one of Andros’s most popular tourist spots.

It offers sunbeds, umbrellas, and plenty of space to swim or relax. The water is calm and shallow, making it ideal for families.

Batsi is also a good base for exploring other parts of the island. Rental cars and scooters are available in the village. The village itself is easy to navigate. Narrow streets wind up the hillside, revealing small churches and scenic viewpoints. Many hotels and guesthouses offer views of the bay, especially those on the slopes above the harbor. 

During summer, Batsi hosts small festivals and live music nights. These events give visitors a taste of local culture and hospitality. Even during the high season, the atmosphere remains friendly and welcoming.
