Pefkoulia Beach Lefkada sits on the west coast of the island, just 10 minutes from Lefkada Town. It’s one of the most accessible beaches on the island. You don’t need to hike or take a boat. Just follow the main road from the town and you’ll reach it quickly.
The beach is long, wide, and framed by green hills. It has soft sand mixed with small pebbles. The water shines with clear turquoise and deep blue tones. On sunny days, the colors look even more striking. Behind the beach, tall pine trees stretch along the hillside. This natural setting creates a peaceful, laid-back vibe.
Pefkoulia Beach Lefkada offers something for everyone. If you like space, walk a little and you’ll find quiet spots. If you want comfort, stay near the center. You’ll find beach bars with sunbeds, umbrellas, drinks, and snacks. A few tavernas are nearby too, so food is never far away.
Parking is easy compared to many other beaches in Lefkada. There’s a large free parking area right by the sand. However, it gets busy in July and August. Try to arrive early or later in the day. Morning hours are peaceful and great for swimming. In the late afternoon, the sun starts to drop and the light gets soft. This is a perfect time for photos and relaxation. Sunset views here are beautiful.
The sea can be calm, but it also gets wavy, especially when the wind picks up. Always check the weather if you’re visiting with kids. On calm days, the shallow entry makes it easy to swim. On windy days, stronger waves attract bodyboarders and wave lovers.
