Pachia Ammos Samothraki stands out as one of the most beautiful and accessible beaches on the island. Located on the southern coast, about 15 kilometers from the port of Kamariotissa, this beach offers a rare stretch of soft, golden sand. While most beaches on the island have rocks or pebbles, the sandy shore of Pachia Ammos provides a comfortable place for sunbathing and swimming.

The beach stretches wide and open, creating plenty of space for visitors to relax. The water remains clear and usually calm, which makes it perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Visitors can easily reach Pachia Ammos Samothraki easily by car or motorbike. The paved road ends at a parking area above the beach. From there, a short footpath leads down to the sand. Although the path only takes about 5 to 10 minutes, it can feel steep in some spots. Therefore, sturdy shoes are recommended. Alternatively, visitors can take a boat tour from Kamariotissa or Therma. These tours often include other stops, such as the remote and stunning Vatos Beach.

During the summer season, a small beach bar opens near the shore. It sells cold drinks, snacks, and occasionally rents sunbeds and umbrellas. However, the beach offers few other services. For this reason, visitors should bring enough water, sunscreen, and anything else they may need for the day.

Accommodation options do not exist at the beach itself. Instead, visitors can stay in nearby villages like Lakkoma, Kamariotissa, or Therma. These towns offer small hotels, guesthouses, and local tavernas serving traditional Greek food.
