Lindos Beach lies on the southeastern coast of Rhodes, beneath the ancient Acropolis of Lindos. It includes two main sections—Megali Paralia (Big Beach) and Pallas Beach. Both offer golden sand, clear waters, and a view of the historic hillside village of Lindos. The beach is one of the most popular in Rhodes for good reason.

Megali Paralia is the larger beach. It stretches across a wide, sandy bay with shallow water. The shallow waters make it ideal for families and children. Swimming is easy, and the water stays calm throughout most of the year. Lifeguards are present in the summer season, adding an extra layer of safety.

Pallas Beach sits to the north side, closer to the village. It is smaller and more peaceful, perfect for visitors seeking a quieter spot. The sand here is just as fine, and the water just as clear. Both areas offer sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. There are also small beach tavernas nearby, serving fresh seafood, drinks, and local dishes.

Getting to Lindos Beach is simple. The village of Lindos is about 50 kilometers from Rhodes Town. Visitors can drive, take a taxi, or use the local bus. Parking can be tricky in the village, especially in summer, so many people walk down from the main road.

Facilities are well-developed. Restrooms, showers, and changing rooms are available along the beachfront. There are shops nearby for snacks, water, and beach gear.

The Acropolis of Lindos rises above the beach and creates a stunning backdrop. After a swim, visitors often hike up to explore the ancient ruins and enjoy panoramic views. The village of Lindos itself is full of whitewashed houses, winding alleys, and small boutiques. It adds a charming, traditional touch to the beach experience. Mornings and early evenings are cooler and less crowded.
