Kaladi Beach Kythira is one of the most picturesque beaches on the island. It sits on the eastern coast of Kythira. The beach has crystal-clear waters, striking cliffs, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Getting to Kaladi Beach requires some effort. A dirt road leads to the parking area, and from there, a safe 162-stair long trail takes visitors down to the shore. There is also a small canteen a short distance before the path. From the top, the turquoise waters and rugged cliffs create a breathtaking scene.

The beach has three sections. The first two areas are larger and great for sunbathing. The third is a small cove, hidden behind rocks, offering extra privacy. The pebbles on the shore make the water incredibly clear. Visitors should bring water shoes for comfort.

The waters are refreshing, and the surrounding rocks create a dramatic landscape. Snorkeling is also popular here since the underwater world is full of life. Waves can sometimes be strong, so swimmers should be cautious.

There are no facilities on the beach, so visitors must come prepared. Bringing water, snacks, and an umbrella is essential. The cliffs provide some shade in the afternoon, but most of the beach is open to the sun.

Kaladi Beach Kythira is less crowded than other beaches on Kythira. Even during summer, it remains a quiet and relaxing place. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to visit. The sunset view from the top of the stairs is unforgettable.
