Moreover, the beach provides both natural beauty and comfort. Tamarisk and pine trees border sections of the sand, giving natural shade in the afternoon. At the same time, sunbeds and umbrellas stand available for rent.

The area also includes several tavernas and cafés along the coast Mini-markets nearby sell essentials, which means travelers do not need to carry heavy supplies. Changing rooms add further convenience. The beach rarely feels overcrowded, even during peak summer.

Only a few kilometers away,  the small chapel of Agios Isidoros sits on a rock connected by a narrow path. Visitors often walk to the church for photos or sunset views. Furthermore, the sunsets over Gourna Bay create breathtaking scenes, as the horizon glows with orange and purple shades.

Later in the day, Gourna Beach Leros grows livelier, especially with local families. Wind may sometimes rise in the afternoon, but the bay protects swimmers from large waves.
