Damouchari Beach lies on the eastern coast of the Pelion Peninsula in Thessaly, mainland Greece. It sits between the mountains and the Aegean Sea, about 48 km east of Volos. The beach remains small, yet its beauty and charm attract visitors year-round. 

The beach features smooth white pebbles instead of sand. Therefore, walking may require water shoes for comfort. However, the setting immediately impresses with its clean, turquoise water.  During windy weather, waves become stronger, though the beach remains safe for careful swimmers.

Unlike larger tourist beaches in the area, Damouchari offers no sunbeds or umbrellas. Instead, visitors enjoy a natural, unspoiled setting. In addition, large trees around the beach provide natural shade. 

To reach the beach, travelers must walk from the nearby parking area. The path takes around ten to fifteen minutes. Although the route includes steps and uneven stones, the walk offers scenic views. 

Several tavernas serve fresh, local dishes right by the sea. Meals include grilled fish, seafood pasta, and traditional Pelion specialties. 

Damouchari  Beach became more famous after scenes from Mamma Mia! were filmed here. While more people now visit, the beach keeps its peaceful character.
