Saint John Theologos is a monastery located on the island of Patmos in Greece. It is believed that the apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation in a cave near the monastery, which attracts many Christian pilgrims.

The monastery was built in 1088, and its stunning architecture and beautiful frescoes are a testament to the craftsmen who worked on it.

Visitors can climb the steep steps to reach the monastery and take in the panoramic views of the island and the Aegean Sea. Inside, they can admire the intricate carvings, paintings, and iconography, including portraits of the Evangelists and depictions of saints.

Today, the monastery still houses a community of monks who continue to preserve the traditions and history of Saint John Theologos for generations to come.
