Kinetta Beach lies about 55 km west of Athens and 30 km east of Corinth, along the scenic coastline of the Saronic Gulf. It sits between Megara and Agioi Theodoroi, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. Travelers often choose this destination because it offers a peaceful escape from the city.

Reaching the beach is simple. Visitors can drive via the A8 Olympia Odos highway or take the old National Road 8. Alternatively, the suburban Proastiakos train connects Kinetta with Athens and Kiato, providing a direct and affordable option.

The beach stretches for roughly six kilometers. Unlike many Greek beaches, Kinetta features a mix of coarse sand and fine pebbles. This variety adds texture to the shore while keeping the water impressively clear. The sea remains calm during most summer days, although it deepens quickly. Therefore, swimmers should stay alert, especially with children.

In addition to clear waters, the surrounding environment adds to the beach’s charm. Mount Gerania rises just behind the coast, while pine trees line the beachfront. These natural elements offer both visual appeal and spots of welcome shade.

Although parts of the beach remain quiet and natural, others offer modern conveniences. Several sections provide organized services such as sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach bars. Many bars offer refreshments, light meals, and background music, creating a relaxed beach club atmosphere. In most cases, guests receive loungers for free with a minimum drink order.

Several amenities support a comfortable visit. Free parking is available near the beach, though it fills quickly on weekends. Nearby tavernas and mini markets provide food and basic supplies. Accommodation ranges from guesthouses and rental apartments to the well-known Kinetta Beach Resort & Spa, which includes pools, dining, and entertainment.

It is recommended to visit the beach on weekdays during summer season, preferably before 11 AM. That is because the beach often gets crowded with people arriving from Athens as well as other areas nearby, making traffic congestion an issue on the way back, especially on Sundays.
