Tourkomnima Beach offers a peaceful escape on the southwest coast of Lipsi Island. It sits about 4 kilometers from Chora, and visitors can reach it by car, scooter, or on foot. The road leading there stays paved for most of the way, but it turns rough near the end. After parking, a short dirt path takes visitors directly to the beach.

Although the walk is brief, it requires careful footing. Wearing proper shoes helps make the descent safer and easier. Once on the beach, the natural beauty immediately stands out. Fine pebbles and soft sand cover the shore, while the water glows in clear shades of turquoise and blue.

Unlike larger, organized beaches, Tourkomnima Beach keeps its wild, untouched charm. No sunbeds, umbrellas, or beach bars appear along the shore. Therefore, visitors should bring their own shade, food, and water. A few tamarisk trees offer limited natural cover, but they fill up quickly, especially in summer.

Because of its remote feel, Tourkomnima stays quiet even during peak season. Most visitors come for peace, privacy, and natural surroundings. It suits those who want to disconnect and relax without noise or crowds.

For added adventure, nearby footpaths connect Tourkomnima with other quiet beaches like Monodendri and Xirokampos. Exploring the area on foot allows visitors to discover more scenic spots in just a short time. These small coves also remain unorganized, so planning ahead is important.

Furthermore, no restaurants or cafés operate in the immediate area. The closest tavernas sit back in Lipsi town or near Katsadia Beach. Visitors who plan to stay at Tourkomnima for several hours often bring picnics and cool drinks.

Parking is possible along the roadside above the beach, though space is limited. Arriving early improves the chance of finding a spot and avoiding the midday heat.
