Nea Vrasna Beach in Asprovalta lies in northern Greece, between Thessaloniki and Kavala. It belongs to the seaside village of Nea Vrasna in Central Macedonia. Because of its location, the beach offers easy access from the Egnatia Odos highway. The beach stretches for about 2 kilometers. Soft golden sand mixes with small pebbles along the shoreline.

The sea remains shallow near the coast, which makes it perfect for families with young children. As swimmers move farther from shore, the water deepens quickly. Therefore, both children and adults find suitable spots for swimming. In addition, Nea Vrasna Beach holds a Blue Flag award. This means it meets high standards for water quality, safety, and environmental care. Throughout the summer, lifeguards monitor the area.

A wide promenade runs parallel to the beach. It features palm trees, flowers, benches, and street lighting. Cafés, tavernas, and beach bars line the path. These spots serve cold drinks, coffee, snacks, and full meals. Furthermore, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent. The beach stays peaceful in the morning. Early swimmers enjoy calm, clear water.

Also, Nea Vrasna village stands just a short walk from the beach. It offers supermarkets, bakeries, and convenience stores. Many accommodations, such as studios, apartments, and small hotels, sit close to the sea. Most places provide basic comforts and friendly service.

Nearby, travelers can explore Asprovalta, located only 500 meters away. They can also visit Stavros, ancient Amphipolis, or the ruins of Stagira, the birthplace of Aristotle. Moreover, from the neighboring port town of Ouranoupoli, boat trips to Mount Athos offer another adventure. These options make Nea Vrasna a great base for regional sightseeing.

During July and August, the area becomes lively. Local events, markets, and folk music nights create a festive summer mood. Still, the beach never feels overcrowded. In contrast, June and early September offer warm weather with fewer people. To enjoy the beach fully, visitors should arrive early for good parking.
