Mirtiotissa Beach is a small and secluded beach on the west coast of Corfu. It sits between the villages of Vatos and Pelekas, about 16 kilometers from Corfu Town. Many people call it one of the most beautiful secluded beaches on the island. 

A narrow path leads down to the shore. The walk can be steep, so wearing comfortable shoes is a good idea. But once you reach the beach, the effort is worth it’ the beach features one of the nicest sunset views on the island.

The sand is soft and golden. The water is clear and a deep shade of blue. The sea is usually calm, which makes it perfect for swimming. Visitors often spread out along the shoreline or rest near the rocks.

Mirtiotissa Beach is well known as a naturist-friendly spot. Though it’s not an official nudist beach, many visitors choose to sunbathe without swimsuits. However, everyone is welcome, whether or not they prefer this option. The mood is respectful and relaxed.

The beach has sufficient amenities such as sunbeds and umbrellas. Due to its small size, the beach can get crowded fast during peak season, so it’s best to plan your visit early in the morning.

Parking is limited near the entrance to the beach path. Arrive early to find a good spot for your car or scooter. The best time to visit is between June and September. The weather is warm, and the sea conditions are perfect.

Close to Mirtiotissa Beach, you can find a few tavernas and cafes in the nearby villages. These are great places to enjoy a traditional Greek meal after your swim.
