Kolimbithra Tinos is one of the most popular and lively beaches on the island. It lies on the Tinos’ northern coast, about 15 kilometers from Chora. The drive takes around 30 minutes and includes some winding roads, but the scenery is worth it. 

The beach is located in a bay, divided into two parts: Mikri Ammos and Megali Ammos. Mikri Ammos is the smaller and more organized of the two. It features sunbeds, umbrellas, and a laid-back beach bar. Visitors can order drinks, snacks, and fresh food while enjoying the sea view. This side attracts younger crowds, surfers, and travelers looking for a more social beach experience. Megali Ammos, the larger beach, remains mostly natural and unspoiled. It stretches out with soft sand and dunes, surrounded by rugged hills. There are no organized facilities here, so visitors should bring their own umbrella and supplies. The wind is often stronger on this side, which makes it a favorite spot for windsurfers and experienced swimmers.

Local tavernas can be found a short drive away, especially in villages like Komi and Kardiani. These offer traditional dishes made with local ingredients. After a day at the beach, a stop in one of these villages provides a great way to end the day.
