An alternative route is initially through Samos International Airport (SMI), which connects with some European countries in the summer, and then through ferry from any one of Pythagorio, Vathi, Karlovasi Ports (Duration 2 hours on average) in Samos to either Evdilos or Agios Kirikos Port in Ikaria (daily itineraries in the summer) .

From Piraeus Port (Duration 7 hours), as well as other islands of the North Aegean such as Samos and Fourni as well as Mykonos daily during the summer season .
