Havania Beach Crete is located just north of Agios Nikolaos, along the scenic Gulf of Mirabello in Lassithi. It is approximately 2 kilometers from the town center and is easy to reach by car. The beach lies near the old Havania settlement and is named after it.

Havania Beach is family-friendly and has shallow waters suitable for children. Sunbeds and umbrellas from the beach bar were generally available for rent, but as of late the beach bar has remained closed and the beach unorganized. 

Parking is available right next to the beach. The area is accessible to people with mobility challenges, with smooth paths and ramps in place. Public buses may stop nearby, especially during the summer. Many visitors combine Havania with a swim at the nearby Mirabello Beach.

Havania Beach Crete is a good option for those looking for a clean, safe, and less crowded place to swim and sunbathe. Its close location to Agios Nikolaos makes it convenient for a quick beach visit or a full day in the sun.

The best time to visit is between May and October, when the weather is warm and sunny. Early morning or late afternoon visits are especially peaceful. The beach is a good choice for couples, families, and solo travelers.
