Ftenagia Beach lies on the northern coast of Chalki. It sits about 5 kilometers from Chora, the main village, and 2 kilometers from Nimporio port. In addition, its location provides easy access to local amenities and nearby attractions. Visitors reach the beach by car, scooter, or a short walk along scenic coastal paths.

The shoreline curves gently along a small bay. Sand and fine pebbles cover most of the beach, while small rocky outcrops appear at the edges. Moreover, the seabed slopes gradually, so the water remains shallow near the shore. Consequently, children and less experienced swimmers enjoy safe conditions.

Ftenagia Beach combines natural beauty with practical facilities. A few sunbeds and umbrellas stand available for rent. Furthermore, a small taverna serves drinks, light snacks, and fresh seafood. Because the beach attracts fewer visitors than other beaches on the island, it maintains a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. As a result, visitors can read, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Access to Ftenagia remains straightforward. A paved road leads most of the way from Chorio, followed by a short gravel track to the shore. Cars and scooters reach the beach easily, and parking spaces lie close to the sand. Public transport runs irregularly on Chalki, so most visitors rely on private vehicles or taxis. Alternatively, walking from Nimporio takes about 20 minutes along a scenic coastal path, which also offers beautiful sea views.
