Chalikiada Beach Agistri lies on the island’s eastern coast  just southeast of the village of Skala. Although close to town, the beach feels remote and untouched. The area remains quiet even in high season, offering a peaceful retreat.

To reach the beach, start from Skala and walk toward Skliri. After passing Skliri Beach, continue along a narrow forest path. Then, follow the trail through the pine trees for about 500 meters. Eventually, the path leads to a cliff overlooking the sea. From there, climb down a steep and rocky slope to reach the shore. Therefore, proper shoes and caution help ensure a safe descent.

Chalikiada features large white pebbles and crystal-clear waters. The sea deepens quickly just a few steps from the edge. As a result, the spot works best for confident swimmers. Moreover, the deep water and surrounding rocks create excellent conditions for snorkeling. 

Unlike many other beaches, Chalikiada offers no facilities. No sunbeds, umbrellas, or shops exist nearby. For this reason, visitors should bring water, food, and sun protection. The natural setting encourages calm and quiet, free from the noise of crowds and businesses.

In addition, Chalikiada is Agistri’s only nudist-friendly beach. Many people come here to relax without restrictions. Furthermore, some travelers attempt to camp in the area. However, camping remains illegal, and authorities occasionally issue fines. 

Despite the effort required to reach the beach, many people consider the experience worthwhile. The stunning views from the cliff, the peaceful atmosphere, and the refreshing swim offer something unique. 

For those who prefer easier access, Skliri Beach provides a nearby alternative. It offers similar water quality and views without the steep descent. Still, Chalikiada offers more privacy and fewer visitors.

In conclusion, Chalikiada Beach Agistri appeals to adventurous travelers. The short hike, rocky terrain, and lack of services may challenge some. Nevertheless, the rewards include natural beauty, deep blue water, and total escape from crowds.
