Camel Beach Kos rests on the southern coast of the island. It lies about 36 kilometers from Kos Town and just a few kilometers from Kefalos village. Drivers often park near the taverna above and walk the last section.

The beach feels quiet and secluded. Although small, it offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The beach is organized for the most part with sunbeds and umbrellas lining the shore. On the other side however, rocks separate a more natural area.

A rocky hill behind the beach resembles a camel’s hump. This feature gives the beach its name and offers a unique photo spot.

Despite its remote feel, Camel Beach Kos provides a few key amenities. A nearby taverna serves drinks and local food. Furthermore, a delivery service brings snacks down to the sunbeds.  However, the beach has no toilets, showers, or changing rooms. For this reason, it helps to plan ahead and bring essentials.

In peak season, the beach becomes more popular. Therefore, arriving early to secure parking and choose a quiet spot is the recommended course of action.

Visitors can also explore nearby attractions. Paradise Beach lies just minutes away by car. Kefalos village offers more dining options and small shops. Some travelers combine all three locations in a single day.
