Kefalonia Foki Beach sits on the northeastern coast of the island. It lies close to the picturesque village of Fiskardo. The beach forms a small, sheltered cove known for its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty. Unlike the island’s more crowded beaches, Foki stays quiet, even during peak season. 

The shoreline features smooth pebbles and small stones. Turquoise waters remain clear and calm throughout the day. Because of the shallow depth, families with young children often choose this spot. 

Dense vegetation surrounds the beach. Tall pine trees line the edge of the shore. These trees provide natural shade, allowing visitors to relax without direct sun exposure. As a result, sunbathers and readers find comfort even during the hottest hours. 

Access to Foki Beach is simple. A narrow road from Fiskardo leads directly to the small parking area. The beach lies only a few minutes’ walk from the parking spot. However, parking spaces fill quickly during July and August. Arriving early ensures an easier visit. 

Fiskardo itself lies just over one kilometer away. Therefore, many visitors combine their beach day with a visit to the village. Traditional buildings, flower-filled balconies, and seaside tavernas give Fiskardo its charm. 

Although Kefalonia Foki Beach remains largely natural, a small taverna stands nearby. It serves local dishes, grilled seafood, and cold drinks. Visitors can enjoy lunch with a sea view before returning to the beach. Yet, no sunbeds or umbrellas appear along the shore. For that reason, bringing a towel and shade umbrella is recommended.
