Gradakia Beach Kefalonia is a small, scenic bay located near the resort area of Lassi. Just a few minutes by car from Argostoli, it offers a quieter and more relaxed alternative to nearby Makris Gialos and Platis Gialos beaches.
The beach is accessible by car, bike, or on foot from the main road. A narrow dirt road leads directly to the beach. Parking is available near the beach bar or along the roadside. However, space may become limited during peak hours. For this reason, early arrival is recommended.
Gradakia Beach Kefalonia is well known for its soft gray sand mixed with small pebbles. In addition, the seabed slopes gently, creating a wide shallow area perfect for children and non-swimmers. Along the edges of the beach, rocky formations and small sea caves offer extra interest for those who enjoy exploring or snorkeling.
The beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, arranged in rows. These can be rented for a small daily fee. However, the beach can feel crowded at midday, especially in July and August.
A beach bar operates near the shore, providing snacks, cold drinks, coffee, and shaded seating. Moreover, restroom and shower facilities are available for public use. Furthermore, the beach is part of a small network of coves, including Kamaroules Beach, accessible by foot.
